In this MUTTS comic, Mooch pokes his head out to greet Earl, who is standing in the rain. Earl asks, "May I come in?" Mooch replies, "Do you shmell like a wet dog?" Earl answers, "No, I smell like cinnamon toast and honeysuckle." 

Earl enters the house, and Mooch sniffs him. "No, you don't," he replies.
